Wales exit Euro 2020 with a disappointing defeat  to Denmark in the last 16 knockout stages. Furthermore, Kasper Dolberg  scored twice , while Joakim Maehle and Martin Braithwaite  were also on the score sheet as the brilliant Danes marched on to the quarter finals.

Faouzi Benzarti resigns

 

Wydad Casablanca head coach Faouzi Benzarti has resigned from his post with immediate effect, following the club's elimination from CAF champions league by the Soweto giants kaizer Chiefs.

Moreover, Since 1997 , Kaizer Chiefs are just the fourth team  to make it all the way to the CAF champions league final without conceding a goal at home, following Esperance (1999 ,2011) and Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

Former Bafana Bafana assistant coach Thabo Senong has resigned as Lesotho senior national team head coach with a move to the premier  soccer league being lined up.

His decision comes just one week before the start of the 2021 COSAFA cup, which is set to be hosted in South Africa on the 7th July 2021.
